Would love to see someone from the moderate, Majority Dem faction really address and wrestle with the political effects of what Labour has been up to.

Our next bath of 3D printed whistles are in process, and we have requests to supply multiple large trainings over the next 2 weeks.

We’ll also hand out hundreds of whistles (for free!) in heavily immigrant communities this week.

Ofelia Casillas: I found faith at a Chicago food pantry
To me, the food pantry isn’t a religious place. But increasingly, it is holy.

Alice Wong taught us that disabled people don’t just leave memories behind—they leave infrastructure. Lineages of care. Methods of collectivity, survival. She named the connective tissue that holds our communities together, even across death, even across the losses that come too fast and too often.

“You all, we all, deserve everything and more”

Thank you Alice for being one of our fiercest ‘disabled oracles’ — and lighting the way so brightly that the dazzle and warmth of your fire is with us still ❤️‍🔥

Yesterday, @mayorwu.boston.gov signed my Surplus Municipal Property for Affordable Housing Ordinance into law. This new law ensures that when city buildings go offline, they’re first considered for affordable housing. Thank you to all the advocates and community members who made this possible!

I wrote about Ta-Nehisi Coates and Ezra Klein, why swallowing live frogs is a bad idea, and how context and history can release you from bright-kid syndrome, the illusion that you yourself are going to have every answer or fix the world.
You don't have to swallow frogs
Klein and Coates show that if you don't know what your core beliefs are, you're going to get played.

Billionaire Jeff Yass isn’t interested in justice — he’s interested in control.

Yass wants a Pennsylvania Supreme Court that shields his fortune and advances his agenda — not one that protects the public.

Mamdani serves a full, nutritious meal in an era where politics is either deadly poison or vacuous junk food. He uses the tried and true "we did, we can, we will" framework that helps abate cynicism but without papering over past harms or present injustice.

This actually happened.
In the 2010s, this country's elites were thrown onto social platforms with everyone else and could finally read what we all think about them and it caused them so much psychic damage that they decided to destroy both the internet and democracy to make sure nothing like it ever happened again.
If this is what it took for you to be pushed into fascism you were probably already there
