It's interesting to see how people see diversity in books on Storygraph.
There's no right or wrong answer. Some count only primary characters, some count disabled and LGBTQ+ characters, some count having a variety of ages.
It's fascinating to see the breakdown.

I've decided that I will try to share at least one tidbit of good news pwe day.

BritBox is getting Sense and Sensibility (Ang Lee version with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet). This is great, because I can't watch the DVD on my computer and it's one of my favorite movies.

Right passed the park now and a little girl maybe 5 years old got out of the car. She's saying "oww" and coughing, an older woman with her rushed her inside

While I was unsuccessful in removing all of the snow blocking the car in, I had cleared a path behind it, putting all excavated snow to the side.
The people parked behind us threw all of their snow on the path I made. I'm still in pain from the shoveling and they dumped their snow over my progress.

This is why Democrats need to compete EVERYWHERE.

We won’t win every race, but it’s stupid and irresponsible to simply forfeit certain races to incumbents. Always but especially now, we need competitive elections. And at the bare minimum, make them spend money defending seats they had won by 17 pts
JUST IN: Democrats flip a red seat in the Texas Senate.

Taylor Rehmet wins against Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist who helped lead right-wing efforts to take over TX school boards.

With all early vote, and 95% of precincts, in, Dem up 57/43.

Trump won this seat by 17% in Tarrant County.

"It's okay to want to be thin" opinion pieces aren't a rejoinder to a prominent thread of popular discourse critiquing thinness. That doesn't currently exist at scale in mainstream media. They're a self-soothing message, a preemptive defense to an imagined criticism.

Abolishing ICE should be easy. ICE hasn't been around that long, and anything it does that ought to be done can be passed along to other agencies or institutions.

The Border Patrol has been around for 101 years, and it should probably also be torn down and its useful functions rebuilt from scratch.

Mash this up with the "respect me as a human vs respect me as an authority" post that's also going around.

You owe everyone basic consideration.
You owe some people care, hugs, food, friendship maintenance work, and such like.
You don't owe anyone forcing yourself to act cishet, abled, white, etc
Add this to the Keanu post and you have my entire moral philosophy
