By sending us $2,000 to give to billionaire insurance CEOs, and by tripling the interest we pay to mortgage companies while he continues to limit what we can write off, he's effectively looting the treasury and using us a mules to launder the stolen money; funneling it to the wealthy.
QUINTANILLA: What's more likely -- a $2,000 tariff rebate check or a 50 year mortgage?

Hey political orgs:
Everything's too expensive. People are struggling. The job market is terrible. Unemployment is through the roof. Millions of people are about to be priced out of healthcare.

Because so many leaves are yellow and orange, and the sky is a sickly yellow gray while the rain plods down, it feels like the world is coated in watery mustard.

4th Amendment violations ALL over the country need to be addressed by the Governors of the states where ICE is violating the Constitution.
Perhaps they need to call out the National Guard to protect the citizens of their states.
Without due process, no one is safe.

Pet food is usually not covered by SNAP (depending on where you are), but needing to cover more groceries may take up what you would have spent on it. Many animal shelters have pet food pantries, so check your local if you're struggling to feed your pets.

SNAP is not the reason your taxes are high.

SNAP recipients don’t need to “just go get a job”.

Most of them work. The rest are disabled, elderly, children or caregivers.

People need & deserve assistance

Your taxes fund wars and tax cuts for the ultra rich

Be mad about that

37% of people on SNAP are elderly and/or disabled.

Standing in a long line at a food bank may be impossible for them. It would be impossible for me.

We need robust networks of community care.

If you know someone who’s housebound or has limited mobility, offer to bring them groceries.

I have POTS.
Doctors told me that I was just anxious for years.
A smart nurse scheduled a tilt table test for me.
I'd been randomly fainting, having tachy episodes, and getting dizzy my whole life.
It’s POTS Awareness Day!

People with POTS are often misdiagnosed with “anxiety”.

It can take 7-10 years to get a proper diagnosis.

I spent years fainting and sustaining severe injuries before a doctor finally figured it out.
