I’m running for governor.

For over a decade, Greg Abbott has made it easier for billionaires to profit while hardworking Texans struggle to afford groceries, housing, and healthcare.

But together, we can make Texas work for Texans again.

Together, we will shape the future of Texas.

Under Greg Abbott, our costs have gone up, our health care remains expensive and out of reach, and our public schools have been defunded.

He does not deserve an unprecedented 4th term.

Texans deserve a new governor - one who's committed to hardworking Texas families, not wealthy donors.

Texans don’t fear the future, because we’re committed to shaping the future.

I was proud to stand with Gov. @gavinnewsom.bsky.social in Houston today as we celebrated the passage of Prop 50!

This isn’t just about protecting our democracy, this is about fighting back against Greg Abbott's legacy of corruption in any way we can.

I’m proud to be a Texan.

Which is why I know that our state can do better.

We can expand health care access to one million more Texans, invest in our public schools, and make life more affordable for working families.

But we have to work together.

Across the country, voters sent a clear message: we are fired up and will continue to fight back against the politicians who place special interests above the needs of working people.
November 5, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill ran campaigns rooted in lowering costs, protecting health care, and improving public schools. And they won.

If last night is any indication of what’s to come, 2026 could be a wave year driven by voters fed up with corruption and high prices.

Tonight’s election results are proof that Americans are demanding change.

Texans want access to affordable health care, lower costs, public schools, and good jobs.

When Texans finally have a governor who prioritizes our needs, we’ll deliver real results for working families across the state.
November 5, 2025 at 4:35 AM
It will take all of us coming together to build the quality neighborhood schools that our kids deserve.
November 3, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Health care. Good schools. Better jobs.

That’s what I’m fighting for, because that’s what Texans need.

Hidalgo County’s Justices of the Peace are seeing an increase in evictions and mental health crises in their courts.

We need a governor who will prioritize expanding mental health services and bringing down the cost of health care for working Texans.

Fort Worth showed up!

Thank you to all the students, parents, and teachers who are fighting for Texas’s neighborhood public schools.

I’m proud to fight alongside you.

Thanks to Nicole Collier and Dr. Bell for the warm welcome.

It’s time Texans had a governor that prioritized their needs.

I will expand access to health care, fully fund our neighborhood public schools, and fight to bring down costs for working families.

In June, Greg Abbott vetoed funding for lunches for nearly 4M children.

Now, he’s refusing to use state funds to help working Texans who are losing their SNAP benefits.

Texas has plenty of money for payouts to his donors, but none left over for working Texans.

TOMORROW: I’ll be knocking doors for Taylor Rehmet — the Democratic candidate for SD9, and I’m asking you to join me.

We only have a few days to go before election day, so every second counts.

WHERE: Cobblestone Trail Park, Fort Worth
WHEN: Nov. 1st, 10AM

I’ll see you there!

Happy Halloween 🎃

When you’re out celebrating tonight, remember that there’s nothing scarier than 4 more years of Greg Abbott stealing your money for payouts to his wealthy donors.

Greg Abbott is now the most unpopular politician in Texas—worse than John Cornyn or Ken Paxton.

Texans are tired of his corrupt agenda.

11% of Texans are on SNAP — including *millions* of Texas children.

Greg Abbott could allocate Rainy Day funds to help feed Texas families.

He hasn’t though, because he doesn’t care about working Texans.
October 30, 2025 at 2:11 PM
I will be the governor that reins in big insurance and big drug companies who are making health care more expensive and making Texans sicker.
October 29, 2025 at 11:56 PM
SNAP benefits are about to run out for 3.5M Texans—including 1.7M kids. Greg Abbott has the money in our Rainy Day Fund to stop kids from going without food.

It is his moral responsibility to announce the state will cover these benefits. No child should go hungry because of Abbott's failure to act.

I was happy to spend time in McAllen this week, talking to Texans about why it’s time for new leadership in our state.

Thank you for having me!
October 28, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Greg Abbott is the most corrupt governor in Texas history.
October 27, 2025 at 8:37 PM
Tejano Democrats know what Texans have understood for a long time: as long as we have a governor who can be bought, we’ll never have the Texas we deserve.

Thank you so much for your support.
