Except the model is still Mamdani (and Obama before it and JFK before that) — that is charismatic people who inspire voters and not mind numbing generic democrats who exist to check boxes robotically.

When we build enough supply of homes so that landlords must compete, renters win.

"The more properties there are, it drives all of us to lower rents and offer concessions" says the property manager pictured here.

notice how its called "the windshield test" because conservatives think of cities as places to drive through, not places to live in and experience first hand. Why should we give a single shit about the opinion of someone who doesnt care to even get out of their car and be part of the community

For the first time all year, Democrats were riding high and the regime was on the ropes.

If Senate leadership’s goal was to demobilize and depress rank-and-file Democrats, they could not have played their cards better.

This is why we’ve launched the largest primary program that we’ve ever run.
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇

Did women ruin the workplace? No! Did I personally ruin my own weekend writing about the cynical fuckery that led to the New York Times asking that question? I sure did!

Huge thanks to @moiradonegan.bsky.social for lending her expertise and insight to my ranting
Women didn’t ruin the workplace. Capitalism did
When your debate centers on whether women should exist in public, you’ve already lost.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

We're all entitled to our own opinions, but I absolutely support this. Social media, IMO, has been one of the most damaging creations of modern day on the global society. Even adults can't handle it well, let alone children.
Denmark’s government on Friday announced an agreement to ban access to social media for anyone under 15, ratcheting up pressure on Big Tech platforms as concerns grow that kids are getting too swept up in a digitized world of harmful content and commercial interests. https://to.pbs.org/3JSdg9T

The move would give some parents — after a specific assessment — the right to let their children access social media from age 13.

I would watch a John Wick spinoff starring Sabrina Carpenter
Look man you can do what you want, but if someone tells you "I think Sabrina Carpenter looks like she's coming this way with a gun!" you should listen.
It is okay to have opinions about the relative attractiveness of famous people but you do not actually have to vocalize those thoughts, and arguably you shouldn't

"I think Sabrina Carpenter loo--" shh, shh, there's no world in which I want to hear the end of this sentence
