So many "leftists" gloating after the election, I wonder how they feel about it now. Did they ever have a voice in the back of their mind telling them that they saw was not success?

Analysis finds that “comparing a single day before the speed camera implementation with one day after, average speeds came down at every single one of those 15 corridors last month. It also found that the share of vehicles speeding by more than 10 miles an hour over the limit fell by a whopping 78%“
S.F. speed cameras are generating mountains of tickets and fines. Here are the totals so far
August was the first month that San Francisco’s automated speed cameras generated citations with a fine. One camera accounted for a quarter of all the tickets, according to data.

NEW: Of all the states that voted for Harris over Trump in 2024, there's only one where a Dem governor is overseeing an ICE's 287(g) program:

Massachusetts.

Other blue states have quit, or even outright banned it. My colleague on what's happening: boltsmag.org/massachusett...

There are only 2 real responses to housing scarcity. You can either build enough homes to accommodate everyone or start drawing up a list of “undesirable demographics” to exclude. I know which side I’m on.

on the balance i think partisan gerrymandering is bad but the only way it ends is if democrats weaponize it against republicans everywhere they can. wiping out republican lawmakers in blue states might bring the GOP to the table to end the practice.

unions endorsing almost any republican is handing a knife to your own mugger

endorsing greg abbott is putting your own head on the chopping block and telling the headsman he doesn't have to worry about sharpening the axe
so is TDU going to condemn this in any way shape or form, or is it just fully committed to complicity?

Missoula, Montana has just:

- Eliminated single family zoning
- Eliminated parking requirements citywide
- Allows 100-125' of height in many of its mixed-use zones with no limits on density or FAR

Why is Missoula so much more progressive than Los Angeles?

Governments don’t expect drivers to shovel their own lanes. They shouldn’t expect people walking, biking, or rolling to shovel their own, either.
Comm Ave now has a bike lane again thanks to the effort of this volunteer crew!

This is just one street, and we don't have the plows that the city has. Let's get this done city-wide!
