Checked to see what Pandora thought counted as #Thanksgiving Music. It turned out to be soft rock, from about 50 years ago.
I feel like I should have guessed that, but I'm not entirely sure why. Can it be as simple as "Thanksgiving music has always been whatever the grandparents like?"

I keep saying this but it’s at least very interesting that many doctors didn’t think ADHD persisted into adulthood until you couldn’t buy Ritalin over the counter anymore and most people stopped smoking.
yeah tbh I’d really rather be on ADHD meds and NOT have to develop a two pack a day cigarette habit as someone who’s never smoked before just to function
I guess I can drink twelve coffees a day while chain smoking if you want me to do this in a socially acceptable manner, I just don't see how that's better for my physical or mental health than Vyvanse, y'know?

I actually think the *core* of Democrats’ unwise leftward move was on climate because it creates direct tensions with a classic kitchen table pitch.
All the other stuff (crime, immigration, guns, gender) matters too but the post-2012 pivot off of “all of the above” energy is the most important.

This was what sealed the "low-information voter" hypothesis for me: Republicans elected a "businessman" so dumb he actually managed to lose money on a pro sports franchise. But he wasn't dumb enough, so they then went on to elect someone who managed to lose money owning casinos.

Peter Thiel and his movement fans think he's the smartest guy in the world, but if you listen to him for even one whole minute, you realize that he sounds exactly like a crazy homeless guy yelling at strangers on a street corner. If he hadn't lucked into an early Paypal stake, that's who he'd be.
