I was searching for something else entirely but it led me to these two shots from our 2012 wedding in Forest Park: 1) My late paternal grandmother, Jean, who rode MetroLink with me from the airport. She was 90 at the time and lived to be 100, and 2) my now teenager niece as my flower girl 🥺

On a lighter note! I completely unnecessarily volunteered the fact that I am "in my forties now" to a crowd of UMSL college students yesterday, and the organizer told me that a student said, "You look great!" and I totally missed it 😂😂😂

I was nervous during a prez today (which mostly went mercifully well given that my body responds like when I was a kid at piano recitals which I was ALSO WELL PRPEARED FOR 🙄) and I kept somehow double clicking the forward button on the remote and skipping my next slide and having to go back lolcry
