I just watched The Man From Earth (2007) and it's the best low-budget movie consisting entirely of people in a room talking to each other since My Dinner With Andre. I highly recommend watching it with zero spoilers.

At least they didn’t try to do the “we’re going to be the FREE SPEECH NO CENSORSHIP platform!” thing that always ends in the admins having to quickly rediscover content moderation and legal compliance 101 while muttering “oh shit oh shit” under their breath
I do love that the people who built bluesky learned nothing about running a social network beforehand and are thus committed to making all the same social network mistakes as everyone who came before them, from first principles
