Arguing that people who live in the South are inherently racist, violent, and dumb has long been a way to avoid examining the problems of "progressive" policing because "we aren't like that."

Jamelle Bouie continuing to work for the Times is so funny to me. The man can write but, unlike Ta-Nehisi Coates, fails to follow through with his convictions.
Seriously, what is wrong with these people?

"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

it's a little funny to see people saying they support the starbucks workers while also saying the coffee they spend their labor making sucks. definitely a "both things are true" situation so like i get it but i don't know if you need to say it in your post about supporting the strikers

I don't think it's even right to say the voting public doesn't care. I think the truth is a lot of voters may generally find trans identity moderately confusing but also *none of their business*.

on the other hand, they find an obsession with harming trans people - say it with me - deeply weird.
Spanberger’s GOP foe spent 57% of her ad budget on anti-trans attacks. Spanberger focused on the economy. You see what won. trib.al/fkMmsR4

The simple truth told time and time again in the polls: The public doesn’t care about trans issues. Voters care deeply about the economy, inflation, & prices.
