If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

New study in Nature finds no such thing as natural immunity to covid after the arrival of omicron. Pre omicron, infection provided 80% protection against re-infection one year later. This falls to under 5% at one year with omicron

It's not too many books if I have loose intentions to read them all, eventually.
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

Did you know. That the meme-explosion that was the wooden model of Sacabambaspis (an Ordovician jawless fish) held at a Museum in Helsinki, was created by a pioneering Estonian fish paleontologist and palaeoartist, Elga Mark-Kurik. 🧵

I homeschooled my kids during covid, specifically studying the tuberculosis pandemic and response as an effort to show how far public health and awareness has progressed as we navigated covid, both individually and as a population. 🫠
Can’t believe the whole country has to suffer through the return of Dickensian childhood diseases because the worst, most ignorant attention-demanders decided other people’s expertise makes them feel bad

I want to uplift the women who were girls who were raped by Epstein & Maxwell & Trump & ex-Prince Andrew & abandoned by everyone who's been scrambling lately to say that they didn't know of course they didn't know but they did know & some of them knew because they'd done it too.

I'm convinced that if we simply removed every pedophile or pedophile enabler from the US government, the future of the US would be instantly, significantly brighter.

Part of any future political campaign should include a demonstration of the candidate performing a normie task. Grocery shop with a budget. Handle an insurance denial for a long-prescribed medication. Get the kids to school and to and manage a workday when there's been a school weather delay.

It is readily apparent that most lawmakers in the United States have never been poor; do not know any poor people; have never actually had a conversation with a poor person; and have no clear understanding of how poverty actually affects people’s health and opportunities.

A great day for the golden rule of political analysis: when the right wins it is a resounding ideological victory that humiliates the left and when the left wins it is a precarious fluke that will surely end up humiliating the left. Conservatives are power’s landlords and the left merely tenants

The USDA is the fail safe for SNAP.

They have a contingency fund to ensure it’s covered in the event of a shutdown.

They’re refusing.

Grocery stores stepped up to try and help by offering discounts to any SNAP recipients and the USDA told them they had to stop.

Starvation as a policy choice.
