I tend to scream all this from the rooftops every night. My apologies to my neighbours. I also do think Americans could do well to look into Canada’s enabling of American interests and their fascism before commending Carney.
Canada buys $19bn of military equipment from the US annually, sells it 4 million barrels of oil daily, cooperates with ICE, has always-on, real-time intelligence sharing through NORAD. If Carney was serious about the perils of American hegemony, this would all stop. But it won't. Because he isn't

No other country does it. Family member spent 20 years in a bedsit finally saved for a deposit on a one bed but some leeching property fund actually owns the building and land it sits on so has the right to lump on ridiculous extras, total profit centre scam no doubt used to buy more freeholds

Just been learning about the freehold/leasehold system in England and how even when you own your flat you have a landlord/property company who owns the walls, roof, floor and charges you 'ground rent', service charge and 'sinking' fund. England = elitist piss taking joke factory
