Expect a lot of tricolours as the IFA allow their protests against Mercosur to be hijacked by Independent Ireland.

Or are they just happy to stand back and say “it wasn’t our protest.”?

Ireland.

Our Taoiseach has taken a 'both sides' position on the deliberate non-consensual production of sexualised images of women and children. He both sides child sexual abuse.

He and his govt have sold Ireland to tech bros.

These people cannot be allowed to remain at the helm.

My word.

The Taoiseach, in China, says "platforms can be misused and abused or they can be used for positive reasons as well..." and says that should be considered carefully "before jumping to conclusions" on whether it's appropriate for the Government to be on X.

Fine Gael & Fianna Fáil have thrown in the towel on climate action and don't even get me started on Independents.

They're even rolling back/standing still on the most popular measures the Greens brought in: public transport investment and housing retrofits. www.thejournal.ie/green-party-...

The government had committed to reducing the emissions by 51 per cent between 2018 and 2030, which it is now not on track to achieve.

Local politicians recently voted to sell public lands at the airport to bring Warren on board for the airport's redevelopment.

All things being equal, we'd say that Putin doesn't want America to illegally annex Greenland because it advantages the U.S. geopolitically as to future struggles in the Arctic and North Atlantic.

But there's a "but."

An annexation also instantly ends NATO—so Putin is on board.

Good morning.

I walked away from X in 2024 as I did not want to support the right wing hate.

I had a significant number of friends, followers and contacts built over a decade.

Yes, I miss them(and how useful they were to my business.)

Walk away from child abuse.

With only 30,000 citizens, the most depressing thing is, Drumpf can just give Greenlanders $10m each to vote for the US to takeover.

$300bn is a knockdown price.

I remember the story about Hussein dropping the dollar as the trading currency tor oil, and how the value of the dollar was so reliant on that exclusive use. Funny to see it come up again with Venzuela.
Somebody on here quipped earlier that we live in precedented times. It hit home with me.

In 2003 I watched US troops roll in to the oil rich Iraqi city of Kirkuk and roll straight out the other side to take up defensive positions around the oil refinery.
