A public lido, with a year-round heated swimming pool, would be by far the best outcome for this long-dry dock basin -- as proposed by the George's Dock Lido campaign. But @dublincitycouncil.bsky.social officials insist that any such facility must be developed and operated by the private sector...
The council plans to launch a public consultation on how to develop George’s Dock. Whatever the results, though, it doesn’t plan to cover the costs. Instead, it wants a private operator to come in and deliver a facility or activity.

When Sir Keir Starmer said he supported Zionism without qualification he wasn't joking. He's now advocating for Zionist football hooligans.

Macabbi Tel Aviv fans are notoriously violent thugs, yet Starmer wants to let them loose on the people of Birmingham.

Visiting Notre-Dame de Paris for the first time since it was restored so beautifully, the excerpt below from its vivid 14th century carved timber choir enclosure caught my eye. It shows King Herod and the apocryphal massacre of the innocents, and I thought of the mass murder of children in Gaza ...

If Farage wins the next election, it will be down to one person. His name is Keir Starmer.
This thread explains why.
1. Destroying faith in democracy. The UK decisively voted out the Tories, only for Starmer to give us a Continuity Tory government, shamefully beholden to economic power.

Meanwhile, the average CEO was paid $17.2M
