Does…does he think you can *pass* legislation via a filibuster?
Trump: "We are going to have the Save America Act, one way or the other ...

1. ALL VOTERS MUST SHOW VOTER I.D. (IDENTIFICATION!).

2. ALL VOTERS MUST SHOW PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP IN ORDER TO VOTE.

3. NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS (EXCEPT FOR ILLNESS, DISABILITY, MILITARY, OR TRAVEL!)."

Look I know there's a lot of *waves hand* going on right now, but it's come to my attention that William "Worst Poet Ever" McGonagall composed in 1899 an elegy to "The Ancient Town of Leith" in his own, inimitable style. So if you care to gather round, I shall now retell it for the whole class 🧵🗣️🪑

I think Rupert has always been smarter than almost every other person in his wealth class and one of the reasons why is that he's always been way better at actually gauging public sentiment and vibes and if he's going here it's because he knows the vibes and where they're trending

I want to see Trump in this exact situation. With that exact terrified expression on his disgusting orange-spackled face.

Legacy, indeed.

Here’s your legacy, rapist.

Seems bad. Yet another in the long list of things (growing ever longer) that would have been a major months long scandal in any other administration.

Totally representative of the Trump regime. A competent military chasing the fever dreams of a senile crazy man with no competent policy advisors.
The WSJ reports that the Trump administration has massed "significant" air power in striking distance of Iran, but hasn't yet decided what the purpose of an attack would be.

Still can't get over how there's a whole civilization with a capital city at least as big as Pompeii buried deep under miles of volcanic rock from the biggest eruption in like 10,000 years on Lombok in Indonesia and all we know about them is that they existed till they were destroyed

Immigration policing & detention now make up 13% of all government spending on the criminal legal system.

The U.S.’s commitment to the deportation agenda comes at a steep financial and moral cost.

One of the things that personally drives me crazy in the U.S. is how youth sports/athletic activities went from a part of the public good (municipal leagues and fields! rec centers! public parks!) to a privatized, expensive, highly competitive, highly structured pursuit for wealthy kids’ résumés
NBC ran a piece where Mary Carrillo went to Norway to find out why they're so good at the Winter Olympics and i was yelling BECAUSE IT'S COLD THERE

then she went to a little tiny ski jump for kids and was like "it's free, equipment is provided, & they don't emphasize results"

and i was like.

that carbon dioxide collects in the atmosphere to cause a greenhouse effect has been known for 125 YEARS
VARNEY: We were told coal is the dirtiest fuel & there are more CO2 emissions than from gas. Is that no longer true?

BURGUM: It's true, but then the question goes back to reversal of the endangerment finding, which is, is CO2 a pollutant or something that helps plants grow? We know it's the latter

I know it's just a constant refrain, but imagine, just imagine! that Biden did this! They'd need to break out a new size of font for the headlines.

will Trump punt the uncertainty for a year by allowing the deal to be sewed for only one year? Quite possibly
