Is it actually that common to go home to a “childhood bedroom” at Christmas? The concept is entirely foreign to me. My family moved multiple times in my childhood and since my parents became retired empty nesters, they’ve moved several more times.

Once had a conversation with a photographer who explained that a portrait wasn't supposed to offer dermatological documentation. He would gently blur photos (keeping the eyes and mouth crisp) to present people in the best light.
