Basically, what I’m trying to say is I understand that ppl who were big fans of Buffy, Firefly etc felt betrayed learning that he’s a sexist dipshit. But the first thing I *ever* learned about the guy was that he’s a sexist dipshit. As far as I’m concerned, the parody of him in The Boys is accurate.

I was already far enough down my little 2010s feminist college student pipeline and multiple friends of mine who *had* watched all his shows were like “Joss Whedon is very Men Writing Women™️” so I decided I didn’t care enough to bother watching any of his work. 😅

I’ve seen two episodes of Buffy in like 2001 and that’s it, bc as I previously stated I have never cared for Joss Whedon’s work and I care even less about him and his career knowing that he has repeatedly treated his talent and crew members like shit.
