I'm finally putting more effort to advertising myself than just forgetting to post about it half the time. Y'all should check it out.
In an era where tokusatsu is more popular in the west than it's ever been, we can't pretend that Nintendo's idea of someone who defeats evil aliens being more of a guardian of justice than a gritty mercenary is out of left field.
The entire fandom’s (and Retro Studios) initial assumption: “Oh she hunts down the baddest monsters in the galaxy and gets paid for it, right?”
Nintendo: “What? No. She’s like humanity’s motherly guardian. What are you talking about.”

Im learning that a lot of 90s anime dubs were recorded in North Carolina and it makes SO much sense now why i find that era of dubs so cozy. Now that i know i cant stop picking up more small nc things haha

Im learning that a lot of 90s anime dubs were recorded in North Carolina and it makes SO much sense now why i find that era of dubs so cozy. Now that i know i cant stop picking up more small nc things haha
You know how, in an emergency, you don't just say "somebody call 911" cause everyone assumes someone else will unless you point to a specific person and say YOU call 911. Libs are the same. They need specific direction or else they will carry on as usual and assume everything's going fine.
