In MAO chapter 303 "The Man-Eating Tree", News of a man-eating tree reaches Mao and Kamon who go and investigate. Renji hears about the tree as well and goes in hope of finding news of what became of Mei after her attempt to save Kagari went awry.

Episode 23 was filled with references to Jackie Chan's 1978 film "Drunken Master" from the opening call back to Wong Fei-hung (played by Jackie Chan) and Yim Tit-sam/Thunderleg (played by Hwang Jang-lee) to "pretty girl putting on make-up" and Genma's brutal balance training.

We're sad to hear about the passing of Tomomichi Nishimura (西村知道), the voice of the Principal in Urusei Yatsura and Kuroboshi in Kyokai no RINNE. His other famous roles include Matsui in Patlabor and Akuma in many Street Fighter games.

Ranma 1/2 Episode 22 - Akane fulfills her with to play Juliet in the school play, however Kuno, Happosai and Gosunkugi all want to play Romeo. Ranma shows no interest in getting involved until a trip to see China suddenly is offered as the prize.
