I remember when I posted that Tomino interview where he said the only American director he’d trust to make a live action Gundam movie was Stanley Kubrick and was flooded with responses from very intelligent internet Gundam fans going “Wow you mean like Full Metal Jacket???:):)”

More film score labels should follow the example of FSM’s The Satan Bug and utilise M&E tracks/film stems in cases when the full score hasn’t survived. Audiophiles would prob scoff at the idea but it’d be the next best thing in such situations.

Every entry in his Byston Well series is set in its own continuity and none of them are sequels to each other.
I guess that kinda attitude was standard for his generation but it sucks its only become more rare over time.
