#hfxws: the Halifax Shopping Centre grounds are easy to navigate by foot, car, or bike (if you can get there). Parking lots, mall roads, and sidewalks are very well cleared, plowing ongoing.

I saw one cyclist heading down Stuart Graham/Leppert around 8:50. But I personally won’t be biking today!

#hfxws: as of 9:00am priority 1 sidewalks such as Mumford Rd and Chebucto Rd haven’t seen a plow. There’s 15+ cm down to walk through. I saw several drivers struggling to make it up Chebucto from the rotary, and getting stuck at the lights at Mumford/MacDonald.

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

the arc of history does not bend on its own — it must be bent.
Just waiting for the "pendulum to swing back" is not going to cut it for the rest of the world.
I was about to post a similar thing

#hfxws Bell rd. bike lane is full of deep snow and not navigable. Car lane must be used instead. Approach to Bell rd. bike lane form south park bike lane also full of snow from road plow.

#hfxws Local streets in my part of Spryfield are still quite snow covered, but bus routes are in okay shape. Sidewalks and multiuse paths in the area are salted and plowed, except for curb cuts (maybe waiting to do those when they plow the roads?)

Watch out for falling branches!
