Oh, uh, hello new followers!

I don't quite have anything to plug right now, but I'm a writer and film photographer and I mostly talk about music, craft beer, culture, queer stuff, disability stuff, and other such things, sometimes with a PR person lens.

Also I have a cat named Leopold. He's cool.

Megyn Kelly just shouting “FOOTBALL IS OURS” at Piers Morgan about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl show is the perfect example of this moment in time. Put it in a time capsule and send it out into space.

Have started watching Madoka Magica, which so far seems like a lighthearted cozy watch about magical girls who, I'm sure, triumph over evil with the power of love and friendship.

Honestly, needed something light like this.

My parents are half joking in trying to convince me to talk to an animal entertainment agency because they think he could be a model.

Personally I think the dizzying highs, the terrifying lows, and the creamy middles of showbiz would get to his head.

Think it should be mentioned with this Discord ID thing, that most LGBTQ+ chats are going to be impacted by this since many had to go 18+ due to false reports.

discord thing's fine, pretty acceptable implementation of a solution to a catastrophic problem that is more effective than the previous solution, which is to say "nothing"

If Epstein were alive I think we should start by emailing jeevacation2@gmail.com and asking if it's him

Would love to ask her why she thinks creativity is a race
“If I can generate a book in a day, and you need six months to write a book, who’s going to win the race?” God this is bleak

I don't think we give enough credit to how much Tim and Eric burned themselves into our collective psyche.

A Black activist I was following on Twitter shared that frustration at the same time, and highlighted some pages from The War Before by Safiya Bukhari, a former member of the Black Panthers who continued her activism. I was intrigued and picked up the book and the text hit me like a ton of bricks.

Brother Mort liked the peace and solitude of his herb garden but even so a visit from Sister Dot and her latest tranche of dirty jokes rarely went unappreciated

It's Bandcamp Friday and several of your favs are probably doing fundraisers for worthy causes right now, and you should go support them. Plus it's been a hard [period of time] and you honestly deserve some music or a nice ahirt.

This person ended up deleting the account or something, but my argument stands, if your reason for using AI to create "art" is based on the premise that having talent is a luxury for those with money and time, there are centuries of artists who lived poverty that would ask you to please repeat that.
This argument would make sense if AI had been around for the past several centuries and used often, but as it stands, Edgar Allen Poe, Franz Kafka, Vincent van Gogh, Maud Lewis, and countless others, despite living and dying in poverty, were able to develop their works.

Looking at it with my editor eyes now, this should have been the first post in the thread, so please give it a read. The tl;dr is to read Black authors, but there are some recommendations and resources in here I really suggest you look into.

The Wright Museums Instagram page is HILARIOUS. Think The Office but it's the staff at a Museum for Black History. Better believe this is on my list of places to visit.

So, bit of a thread here.

In 2020 I wasn't in a good place. COVID started, Trump was being Trump, hate was more on the rise than ever, and I found myself frustrated with an online culture of people calling for revolution, but preferring to police and fight themselves. I felt helpless.

I realized that a lot of the guys who have been found in the Epstein files are probably really struggling because the guy they would have gone to for advice about being discovered in the Epstein files was JEFFREY EPSTEIN
Over the past two weeks I've begun to realize that rich people only started funding chatbots once they could no longer email Jeffrey Epstein
