Oh, uh, hello new followers!
I don't quite have anything to plug right now, but I'm a writer and film photographer and I mostly talk about music, craft beer, culture, queer stuff, disability stuff, and other such things, sometimes with a PR person lens.

So I got influenced by that Jesse's Tea guy on tiktok and ordered a cup and like 50g of tea. Then found out that, while the cup I got is a special one made with an LA artist, a lot of his products are overpriced and available on AliExpress.
But Reddit saved the day with a good international source!

If you’ve historically been a “vote blue no matter who” type, it’d be cool if you could use this moment to understand why vilifying leftists who actually do think it matters is basically a psyop you accidentally fell for. This is why people warn you about guys like Newsom.

Made Japanese hot pot for the first time. Got napa cabbage leaves, put thin slices of beef between them, cut them up, and into a pot with mushrooms and broth, soy sauce, MSG, and some water. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes and it's done.
Perfect for a snowy day & goes well with the homemade kimchi

There's a whole generation that learned irony before sincerity and now they're trapped. Can't be earnest without a layer of self-deprecation. Can't be enthusiastic without signaling awareness of how cringe enthusiasm is.

And I'm back. After all that, they think it's a mix of dental disease that our family vet didn't tell me about and a side effect of the medication he's on that our family vet didn't tell me about. He has a lot of meds now.
Also he bit a technician, so Public Health will be calling me soon.

I'm at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic and there are a LOT of queer people also worried about their cats here
