What is the publishing industry actually offering authors right now? Because half the writers I know who went the traditional route have started regretting it.

As the news moves on it's important to remember ICE hasn't. They haven't left here (LA) and they won't have left Minnesota. They will be stretched thin, but they'll still be around and any help we can offer the people of impacted cities is crucial ESPECIALLY when media moves on.

There is no self care without community care, ESPECIALLY now. If you're looking to meet & protect your neighbors, start mutual aid networks, etc. I will set aside time to meet with you all & facilitate these convos free of charge or optional tips only, bc we should all do what we can!
