I had the inverse: My grandma noticed my grandpa starting to like Trump and got him a dementia diagnosis on the first appointment.

EMTs also stopped asking who's the president during his first term because people would fly into rages and sometimes it was hard to know if the rage was confusion or definitely knowing the answer

You know it's bad when the popularity machine breaks. Just assume it's 0% moving forward.

Are legacy houses more resistant to making changes than newer niche ones? Or are you all facing the same issues?

And what are publishers and people who work for them going through? Is the industry suffering that much from external factors, digging its own grave or both? Is there a push to stay on certain paths or genres and not others that you disagree with?

What is the publishing industry actually offering authors right now? Because half the writers I know who went the traditional route have started regretting it.

As the news moves on it's important to remember ICE hasn't. They haven't left here (LA) and they won't have left Minnesota. They will be stretched thin, but they'll still be around and any help we can offer the people of impacted cities is crucial ESPECIALLY when media moves on.

“things are winding down in Minnesota”
Video of the ICE-kidnapping victim under a sheet. You will also hear the officer say he saw them moving. I am inclined to believe the person was alive.

I always hated cringe scorn. Like we're all corny in our own way. It's beautiful and embarrassing.

Emphasizing you can't care about these dogs without caring about their humans is kinda crucial. We may go to pages like these to escape the news' effect on our nervous systems but escaping should NOT be forgetting or losing sight.
