Bond discourse had convinced me to call Star Wars “Six Degrees of Skywalker” from now on. We’ll see how long it lasts.

Bond is one of those characters like Hercules, where you put him in your story, everybody knows who he is and what to expect from him, so you don't have to fill in any details whatsoever and you can get on with the storytelling.

I need Joyce Carol Oates to be mean to me online so I can get my life together

This is a hobby where buying a 3d printer and making your own minis is probably an economic option….

As I was saying. Also, confirms the notion that Bond isn’t a name, it’s a job title.
As you (may) know, Bob, my solution for the Bond problem starts with Bond suddenly realizing that since he is in his 30s, he cannot possibly have memories of his cases from the 1960s... but he does. Digging leads him to the home/lab of Professor Ian McClaine and McClaine's son Joe.

Bond is an iconic hero.
You do sequels until your actor tires of the role. Then you start over.
Because iconic heroes don’t do arcs well.

what did they think was happening in casino royale exactly, was that the same Bond that went to space in Moonraker
just have the new Bond shoot someone with a PP7 and kiss a pretty lady and we’re good here

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

They went with songs to the battle, they were young,
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted;
They fell with their faces to the foe.
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted;
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

FYI part of our current problem with air traffic controllers began when Reagan fired a bunch of them en masse during a strike.
That meant a bunch of new ones were all hired at the same time, and unsurprisingly began retiring all at the same time a few years ago.

The past 30 years, I always called my Grandpa Don on Nov 10 to wish him a happy USMC birthday. He grew up without running water, and enlisting in the Marines, and then returning after college as an officer, dramatically changed the trajectory of his life. He died in Sept at age 96. Miss you, Marine.

I decided not to play with untested chemicals last night.
Instead, I did it this evening. I’m very happy with how things turned out.
I’m experimenting with Mr. Color 1500 black primer and Mr. Surfacer leveling thinner.
Early results are promising….

It’s 3 am. Do I go spray the next and (at least somewhat) toxic paint and solvent I just got for the first time (while testing my new respirator)? Or do I call it good and go to bed?
