I had decided I was done with Stranger Things after season 3. Then I a friend gave the most gushing praise to season 4 insisting I *had* to watch it. This and all the other hype got me to watch it, despite 90 minute eps or whatever.

the book david the gnome was based on is a better vibe than david the gnome imo... it's a little gnome encyclopedia on their lifestyles and technology and tree trunk houses. the box set campaign setting for gnomes, I read it 1000x as a kid.

Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.

It’s so funny that Parasite Eve 3 is an over the shoulder cover shooter with squad tactics and fully rendered Final Fantasy angst cutscenes. 2010s female action horror protagonists loved to be like who am I? My memories were genetically altered to make me more efficient at dual wielding pistols.
