I guess I could try to go to northern Georgia and spend my free time looking for possibly-extinct Dendrocephalus lithaca. I don't think anyone else is working on that. I bet I could find it.

this guy from Sonic CD is named bata-pyon. "Batta" is grasshopper/locust, "batabata" is onomatopoeia for rushing, and "pyonpyon" is onomatopoeia for jumping, so the word alone is like a pun tesseract. very beautiful & very powerful

I'm hearing PRI Museum of the Earth currently has an exhibit with LIVE Chittenango ovate amber snails, which are known only from the spray zone on the left side of a singular waterfall in New York State. I have two birdbaths, mini wildlife pond, decorative cement planters, retaining walls, and two birdhouses. Metal sign is on the way. I don't think I have enough room for a bat house to be a safe distance from structures or powerlines. What am I missing for the ultimate suburban garden flex
