When I worked on social features for online games, my favorite test for whether we were taking player safety into account was the "Ex-boyfriend Test", as in:

I just called Disney+ to cancel my account and had the most joyful interaction with an operator who was laughing the entire time about how many people had canceled today.
I can only imagine how it feels to spend an entire day witnessing how many people want to stop fascism.

there was a whole saga on tiktok about a woman who "fell in love" and became obsessed w her psychiatrist, and she very notably created two chatgpt bots that call her "the oracle" and feed her delusions on live streams and my favorite reactions to it are "that's crazy. MY chatgpt bots are normal"
