This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

Warrantless home invasions by the federal government freak out Americans! We notably fought a war over this! ICE thinks they can break into anyone's house as long as they maybe, kinda, sorta think there's an undocumented immigrant inside.
2/ While we must center ICE’s crimes against non-citizen immigrants, a message that needs underlining nationally is 59% of Minnesota *citizens* fear ICE, which has no jurisdction over them. Obviously true after Good/Pretti murders, but reflects daily assaults/threats. Even 53% of Greater Mn agrees!

The judicial warrants protect American citizens from ICE busting down their doors.

Sure got a nice separation ordinance in Minneapolis. It'd be a shame if the mayor happened to it.
Following this incident I followed up with Mayor Frey to ask for more information about what had happened. His chief of staff confirmed that the Mayor and his administration had a meeting with border czar Tom Homan. I assume the ICE vehicles outside were part of Homan’s convoy.

Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left.

Just because ICE calls them "administrative warrants" doesn't make that the most accurate term for them.
They are forms. ICE forms. Signed by an ICE employee. Authorizing an arrest, but still, a _form._
