The trouble is that this is the closest approach to the truth--Trump doesn't give a shit who lives or dies, he's barely even paying attention to what's going on from one day to the next besides what's on the teevee--that the Times can make without its coverage seeming intolerably "biased".

It is imperative that those who are elected to the next Congress understand that one of their principal jobs will be to reassert the prerogatives of the House of Representatives as the Article I branch of the U.S. government.
