every single congressional republican is (once again) wholly violating their oath of office if they allow trump to start yet another illegal war with iran
Trump's attack on Iran is manifestly illegal, another usurpation of Congress's constitutional authority, and a fundamental assault on the rule of law in the United States and internationally.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has entered the courtroom for the verdict in his insurrection trial, the most consequential of the criminal charges he faces tied to martial law.

No war.
It needs to be said clearly that it would be absolutely insane for the United States to start a war of aggression against Iran. If anyone thinks that Trump gives a rip about democracy or human rights you are kidding yourself. It’ll be another campaign of domination and plunder.

This would also be true of any further US attack on Iran.

No war.
Trump claims he wants a deal with Iran, not war. That’s B.S. We had a great deal with Iran on its nuclear program in 2015, but Trump tore it up and then bombed Iran last summer. Trump is a dangerous warmonger that must be stopped.

No war.
The "America First" president who wants a Nobel Peace Prize wants to go to war with Iran during Ramadan.

What could go wrong?

No war.
Why is Trump planning to attack Iran again? We were told last summer that our bombing then “obliterated “ Irans nuclear weapons program.

for what - on what grounds other than presidential caprice? no pretense is ever made in any of the coverage that a casus belli exists for this looming cataclysm.

The US military is prepared to strike Iran as early as this weekend, though President Donald Trump has yet to make a final decision on whether he’ll authorize such actions, sources familiar with the matter tell CNN. https://cnn.it/4kGV8Op

No war.
The US is poised to engage in an unprovoked war of aggression against a country of 92 million, which will cause economic and political reverberations that dwarf the War on Terror and become a core factor of American life for decades. And these rats are like 🤓☝️ the polls say trans ppl are gross 😏
The Poll Realists only want to sacrifice trans people and immigrants, never Israel or foreign military entanglements, both of which are world historically unpopular across the entire voting public

No war.
It’s like if George Bush has launched the Iraq War but didn’t bother to even lie about why he was doing it, didn’t even try to claim what the goal was, and didn’t even ask Congress to authorize it.

That’s what Trump is doing now, and everyone is just acting like it’s normal.

This is not normal.

I thought we totally destroyed their nuclear program in June. Why would we want to bomb again?
In this entire piece there is not a hint of even a semblance of a legal argument for how a war of this scale would be legal or authorized.

There is quite simply no legal or constitutional authority for Trump to launch a war of choice against Iran.

None. Zero. Nothing.

The trouble is that this is the closest approach to the truth--Trump doesn't give a shit who lives or dies, he's barely even paying attention to what's going on from one day to the next besides what's on the teevee--that the Times can make without its coverage seeming intolerably "biased".
It's so crazy how the US military just does things—completely leaderless, an unaccountable black box—and keeps putting the dear anti-war President in sticky situations

Someone else can do those jobs or perform those functions, and do a better job of it.
Every administrator, every board of trustees, every president, chancellor who bent the knee to Trump and his cronies should immediately be stripped of their position and driven from their institutions.
BREAKING: The Department of Education has ended its directive that attempted to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in schools nationwide.

This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.

I just can’t stop thinking abt federal agents raiding the cells of incarcerated children to confiscate their drawings & letters. This is Nazi shit.
ProPublica published children's letters and drawings documenting their sadness and suffering at Dilley. And Dilley staff are now retaliating by confiscating kids' letters and drawings.
