1) Emily Oster is an economist, not a dietitian.
2) In a country where the #1 cause of death is heart disease, and where >10% of adults have high LDL cholesterol, putting sources high in saturated fats at the top of your pyramid--and not including a single bean/legume as a protein--is bad advice.

Don't make her life be about the DNA debacle. She died far too young, but she was a promising scientist in her own right, a mentor and scientific author.

Just occurred to me that John Boyne's logic - that if you make the majority uncomfortable your rights should give way - would map perfectly on to him withdrawing from the Polari prize.
