something from minnesota that i would like people to learn, that i don’t think is hitting people yet:

helping MN is good. people need it. but people in your community need mutual aid too. care. resources. food. outside of times of crisis.

and you can help.

Every game worker, but especially those working remotely should be paying attention to and supporting this strike.
Over 1,000 Ubisoft workers around the world have walked off the job.

In response to a return-to-office mandate, layoffs, and the cancellation of several games, workers launched a three-day strike.

The workers walked out in response to five French unions issuing the strike call.
Ubisoft workers are on strike: 'We are treated like children'
The strike comes after the publisher revealed plans to cut up to 200 jobs and ordered remote workers back into the office

I would vote for the folks making the whistles in most Democratic primaries.
The professional grade logistics of the 9,723 individual pop-up leftist supply depots are running laps around the people paid to do these jobs
Kind of think that locally we’re entering into a political moment where the idea that someone in public office credibly claiming they are a more complex or pragmatic thinker than the average citizen has become untenable. The only question will be what did you do.

My partner did an amazing job getting a big chunk of the basement cleared after last year's flood, and then they and younger son got mats back down, so I can finally do Kenpo indoors during the winter again.

Rough start back as expected after months of not being able to do it, but WE'RE ON OUR WAY.

We need to talk about IQ. i had my IQ tested when I was very young. It came out wicked high, because I am very good at maths and even better at pattern recognition.

IQ is eugenicist bullshit.

"It's a competent loop of heist setup and escape execution. But even when I piloted Nomali through a flawless getaway, I found myself more interested in being able to return to the relooters' hideout to learn more about the game's 70 reclaimable artifacts and their very real histories."
Relooted is a fine heist game—but it's a better history lesson

Khaless wept, if this isn't a fucking word.

"...that place you're softly stepping your way towards is full of the bodies of our dead friends, put there by folks just asking questions about our humanity."
We are hostile to anyone being less than supportive because we understand where this two step you're doing into transphobia leads.

And that place you're softly stepping your way towards is full of the bodies of our dead friends, put there by folks just asking questions about our humanity.

@schiff.senate.gov As a Californian, I am telling you that if you want my vote you need to follow Senator Markey's lead here. This administration is building concentration camps.
I will not support any funding deal that puts money in the hands of Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, and this violent agency. Defund and abolish ICE now.

My "favorite" Super Bowl ad up in Canada was a sober visionary monologue saying that they didn't call it the industrial revolution while it was happening, nobody could predict it at the time, and that's why you should support AI, a thing that AI bros are saying is definitely happening right now.

Karin played me a lovely song one of her choruses is doing, and I‘d heard it before, and lemme tell you, trying to hunt down track listings of 30-year-old a cappella group albums is an exercise.

But I did PROVE that a group we heard 25-ish years ago had done it on a CD we lost several moves ago.
