"The judge upbraided the Meta team and said if you guys have recorded anything, you have to dispose of it or I will hold you in contempt," Jacob Ward, a technology journalist and the host of the Rip Current Podcast, told CBS News, calling the incident "an extraordinary misstep" by Meta.

Trump is covering up both the global elite pedophile cabal AND the secret alien occupation

No joke, Trump won twice by convincing low trust conspiracy-minded weirdos to vote for him. We can win those people back if we play our cards right

(Advising candidates for governor of Washington) Listen, nobody likes passive-aggressive. You need to be aggressive-aggressive. People love it when you come across really abrasive like a sports talk show guy. And you should probably wear a Derek Jeter jersey for your speeches. Voters love winners.
Everything else put aside, I'm just very taken at the notion that Andy Beshear needs tips from a New Yorker on how to win in Kentucky

Are you, a non-Muslim, tasked with teaching or training Muslims during Ramadan? It's possible but you need to know how to do it. Here are tips I got from Muslim coworkers that worked well (Mercy Corps stupidly scheduled a key training I was giving in Turkey during Ramadan and couldn't move it.) 1/

If you set your own guys on fire that's not a good military move. Also the Spartans got smoked by what I'm guessing was the gayest elite military unit ever (most elite gay military unit ever?) but sure, man

Going out on a limb to argue two things:

a) the history of slavery actually serves the "slavery was bad" faction pretty well, and

b) the "slavery was bad" faction ought to include the GOP and the fact that it doesn't says a lot more about the GOP than it does about slavery

Interesting that the lowest GOP and indy scores are "some college" instead of high school. I suppose if you went to college and didn't get a degree out of it or much else except a disappointing experience and a lot of debt, you're primed to believe it's a bunch of BS
Are Americans polarized in their attitudes toward higher education? 🤔

Using some @electionstudies.bsky.social data, the answer seems to be: Yes, but not dramatically so, and there's a tendency for more experience with higher ed. to be associated w/ more positive ratings. 👍

Amen. It's amazing when MAGA types describe their ideal society and it's like some muddy Russian village where the officials are corrupt and all the young men died in Ukraine for no reason. The US has this unbelievable energy and MAGA absolutely loathes it
My dudes what is america without this? We immigrants are attracted to america because of Black culture, because of Latinx culture, because of the cities full of every type of person, because the prospect of coming to this country and succeeding despite not being white and wealthy.

Oh thank God, the scourge of immigrants who don't have disabilities or chronic illness using taxis to go to medical appointments at taxpayer expense is finally over. The kind of bold sweeping leadership Keir Starmer is so famous for. I just worry if perhaps this new policy isn't specific enough
