Democrats handing the GOP a victory on the ACA in a situation where they had leverage, then turning around and blaming us in advance for failing to support them in a losing fight for the ACA in December where they have zero leverage makes me feel like I'm in a toxic relationship.

Motherfucker, we WERE united. We were supporting y'all despite the pain because we believed it was for a greater good. Y'all burnt all that support and goodwill to the ground, not because people were going hungry or unpaid, but because *flights were getting canceled*.

Democratic Senators are having some sort of mass hallucination where they actually think Republicans are going to give a single shit about Democrats whining about the ACA subsidies. The group departure from reality should be studied.

I'm still flabbergasted by that Sheldon Whitehouse post.

Why don't y'all stop lecturing us on how we need to support and vote for y'all, and start doing your jobs in a way that makes us actually *want* to support and vote for y'all?
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

Many things led to this moment but top of mind right now are blaming women for ruining the workplace & continuing to smear those who speak out against genocide.
It’s a shame because I need to be up-to-date on the news but I will not support fascism financially.

The far right took over the GOP through the long process of taking over local and county organizations and the left can do the same. It’s not an instant fix but it actually works.

Trump said, "tell them to start canceling flights", and it took what? 2 days for Dems to cave.
The rich donors running the airlines started calling Dems to make them whole.

I don't know what the actual reason is for Democrats' caving, but in the absence of an explanation that makes sense, people will fill in the blanks.
When you've proven yourself untrustworthy, people will not give you the benefit of assuming good faith and will fill in the blanks with awful things.
