One reason I have nearly no patience with elites is that they have the scope, power & protection to act & they almost never do. Whether it's an assistant or wrier in Hollywood or a high schooler or carpenter standing beside me at Broadview ICE, I've seen regular people show so much courage. SO MUCH.

i'm so glad that each of the 615 included in this order will be able to return home to their families &/or communities. but the indiscriminate way they were kidnapped and *now have to pay for release* instead of getting money from the govt for lost wages, bills, & healing is a fucking injustice.

So, uh, the Jed Rubenfeld referenced here was disciplined by Yale Law for sexually harassing students. He's married to Amy Chua who among other things took to the pages of the NYT to defend Kavanaugh when he was under fire for sexually harassment. Ken Starr, well we know. This is just incredible.
