and here I was thinking that spider-man was going to be the epitome of how they're making way too many ub/sl sets to the point where it's clear that they don't have the resources any more to handle such an absurd release schedule

steam has inconsistent policies yadda yadda but the most baffling part of this (to both me and the creators) is that steam said the reason was "sexual content involving a minor" when there are no scenes like that in the game???

trying to remember games that have popularity/acclaim from streaming/let's plays/lore vids/~content creation~/etc because if people actually played them they'd realize how much they suck to play. iirc stuff like psychonauts, shenmue, vtmb bloodlines, others?
"you have not played the game unless you've played the game" is one of my more annoying but unshakable opinions
the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information

ffx-2 not cracking 50% kinda makes it clear just how much of "rpg dialog" is just the specified exposition fairy(s) explaining systems, lore, tutorials, etc. to the player
(similarly the later slide contrasting ff with horizon would support this to me since now it's aloy doing the barks nonstop)
