AAA studios don't even email me back, no matter hard I hurl myself at the brick wall lol.
I've barely been staying afloat at all out here but it's ONLY because I've been able to work with a handful of wonderful like-minded people on some smaller teams.

I also mentioned that the only reason I have had anything resembling stable work in the past few years is that I never cracked into AAA and I've managed to only work with people who care first and foremost about sustainability. And who actually enjoy the craft of making games. THIS SHIT MATTERS!

Referring to Valve as the David in your upstart gaming platform story shows an incredible amount of hubris and a lack of understanding of anything in this space beyond believing a larger number of people and monetary resources is all you need to succeed.
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

Can anyone recommend some good ones in LA?
Pet food is usually not covered by SNAP (depending on where you are), but needing to cover more groceries may take up what you would have spent on it. Many animal shelters have pet food pantries, so check your local if you're struggling to feed your pets.

I did a bunch of crazed math to find out how stat growths work in FFT and discovered that functionally speaking you can expect a total of ~1 extra baseline point in attack and ~15 extra baseline HP/MP total over 30 levels by specializing a character super hard lol
