I don’t think the feds really understand what they are up against. They shot and killed someone in the heart of a community that stood up against violence at the hands of government agents in 2020. And then they think they can lie about it and spew racist bile about our friends and neighbors? Uh no.

I love how this story showcases how pathetic the federal agents are. They gather in their cosplay in abandoned parking lots and probably map out their approach for the day. Then hopefully have cognitive dissonance wondering how stopping random nonwhite people grocery shopping is making us safer.
I just saw the video of when 🧊 boxed me in today to intimidate and it’s kind of a funny story. It was right by the bar so i went over to observe them. 6 (?) cars or so. All staging for the morning. Then i left the parking lot after them and suddenly i was surrounded by a bunch of suvs.

Not being a St. Paulianian, I didn’t really have Melvin pegged as a skyway tear-down guy, though it’s all academic now. But I suppose I should’ve guessed from his perfect articulation of why cities need multimodal (aside from the environment, car lanes don’t have the throughput for a growing city).

I’ve been to two separate 🎄Christmas🎄theater performances in Minnesota in the last two days, and both of them incorporated anti-ICE messages. In Minnesota, we know that de-icing can take many forms.
Today, with the windchill struggling to reach 0°F at times, thousands marched down Lake Street in South Minneapolis protesting the actions of ICE.

Hennepin County dispatch got a panicked call from a Department of Homeland Security supervisor in Minneapolis requesting assistance because “we only have a few officers but we have 60-70 agitators fighting them.” Hennepin deputies didn’t witness any attacks on agents.
