Every photo from Minneapolis looks like this. Cops decked out with guns and full tac gear facing off against people in bathrobes, parkas, and sweatpants armed only with whistles and cell phones.

Yet every verified MAGA chode on X dutifully calls it a riot or violent insurrection.

Keep track of the escalations. The 21-yr-old who's been posting openly white-supremacist, antisemitic graphics for Dept. of Labor just got a giant promotion to run social media for DHS's 222,000 employees. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/11/u...

Well you thought "Born In The USA" was a patriotic anthem even though The Boss sings it in English. I don't think the language barrier is what's holding you back buddy.

I need at least one (1) day without people getting underfoot in the kitchen. It is fucking hard to do canning with people wandering in and out. 😠

The mainstream news media will never call Trump explicity racist. They'll always dodge the allegation. That's because the white people running the joints need to believe that there is a distinction between donig racist things and promoting racist polices, versus being *personally* racist.

Whatever you think of the Washington Post at this moment, here's a chance to support the dedicated, hard-working journalists who were just laid off. If you have the means, your donation is most welcome. If you don't, a kind thought and maybe spreading the word to others is support enough 💙

The Washington City Paper lives! It's one of the only places in the DC area where you can find local news and arts coverage that The Post just decimated.
