Spent yesterday w/Niblet. Mom & bro-in-law at a fall fesitval farm attraction. Niblet had SO much fun, and I think mom had a good day, too. She's been non-stop with cleaning dad's stuff out & church work, so she needed a day away from it all. Related: kettle corn makes a decent breakfast 😆

It will catch the afternoon sunlight next to where I sit for work, just as soon as I find a suction cup or other hanger for the window. She also sent this adorable pickle that is 3000% going on the tree this year. 😍

Iz-Bun searched high and low for good autumnal leaves to pose with, but all he could find were dead leaves on the ground and sickly looking leaves on the trees. We're clearly not at peak color 'round these parts. 🙄 #OFMDollsAutumn

Kracken!Steard had a ghostly pumpkin visitor, and the rest of the family visited the photography studio to pretend they went to the pumpkin patch. (They took a vote and decided it was too rainy to visit in person, so studio portrait was the next best thing. 🙄)

Decided to feed half an army. Made cinnamon rolls for the retreat next month, six pans of them. And I made a LOT of sugar cookies that I need to decorate this week, for the bake sale at mom's church next weekend. Busy days are good right now.

Niblet has the day off school, so she's "helping" me sort out the doll clothes. By which I mean all the babies are getting dressed to go to the pool. 15cm Izzy is the mom, and the rest of them are the kids, all complaining about needing suits and sunscreen. 🤣

I'm about to crawl out of my skin, being around so many people right now. But being at the family farm does offer fun distractions such as wrangling escaped calves, so there's that going for it. Escape artist pic for tax. Full of soybeans fresh from the (neighbor's) field. No regerts.

Going thru photos and what do I find but more pics of the boys in Iceland! Here they are in Borgarnes, enjoying the patio at their hotel (it was a long bus ride that day); back in said bus for another day of touring; and finally outside the Sorcery Museum, where they ran off to touch the ocean.

Last day in Iceland 😭😭😭 Weather is GORGEOUS, which may have led to some last day shopping of very shiny and expensive things to take home. 😇 We're also finding as many murals as we can, b/c pretty.

Y'all. I saw the aurora with my own two eyeballs. My camera captured something close to what it looked like with the naked eye. Never thought I'd see it in person. 😍

My friend did a quick wellness check on my cat (she's fine. Just wanted more person time than my fam can reasonably give her), and I think he broke her. Lookit that scrungly face. 🤣

The boys continue to enjoy their Iceland trip. Yesterday was more waterfalls, complete with rock formations made by old lava flows. They got...distracted... while wandering along the path, but I got there before any public indecency. 🙄 and now we're in the van, waiting to go!

There's an Icelandic Culture celebration happening in Reykjavik today, and somehow that means that LMFAO's Party Rock is booming right outside of the hotel. Jack wants to go dance in the square, but Izzy just wants a night in. Izzy won of course, but Jack's about to start dancing inside.

There's an Icelandic Culture celebration happening in Reykjavik today, and somehow that means that LMFAO's Party Rock is booming right outside of the hotel. Jack wants to go dance in the square, but Izzy just wants a night in. Izzy won of course, but Jack's about to start dancing inside.
The boys had a good flight, then went to a small lagoon to float for a few hours. No pics of them there, alas, but there were doll sized houses! Then to the hotel (Jack needed help on the van step), where they found their friend Mr. Blue & gazed upon the town. A quick dinner, then bedtime for them.

Jack & Izzy met a friend at the airport, had a good flight complete with some bubbly, and are now on the lookout for their new friend. No idea where he went. It's a mystery.
