Beginning to regret forcing my fam to do Thanksgiving as normal this year. I'm not sure my nerves are up for it. (And christ, even typing that out makes me feel like Mrs. Bennet) A whole day of quiet, sleeping in, & napping hasn't been enough to get me back to 'normal' after yesterday.

Even television show captions do something similar. The number of times “speaks [insert foreign language]” text covers up the actual dialogue in the captions makes me wanna fight the air.
i need streamers, youtubers and other content creators to stop putting words at the bottom of the screen where the captions will be. the amount of times i’ve had to rewind to pause and see what pop up jokes they put in that i can’t see because there’s captions over it 🙃

So doing this removes the tabs (social, promotions etc) which did exist before Gemini, but now require it for some reason. AI is a disease. Get rid of it already.
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Turns out that taking notes on your desk with a pencil when you can't find your notebook isn't the best plan. Especially when you're a left-hander & you use your mouse with your left hand, too. I'm failing therapy homework because I can't read what I wrote down, so this feels like a new low. 🤣

I hate the days I have to come into the office. It's so fucking useless. One team meeting a month I have to be here for, when literally 1/3 of the team are 100% remote workers out of state. It sounded good when the idea was unit meetings would also happen, but none of them want to meet in person.
