the fact that amtrak cascades hit another ridership record in FY25 despite shutting down for two weeks and spending half the year running smaller trains with higher prices bc of the horizon recall is another sign that the demand for rail in the pnw is genuinely insatiable

It's all happening for us train enthusiasts (or is it just me?) as today marks 200 years since the Stockton and Darlington Railway opened in 1825 - the birth of the modern railway.

I am not diabetic, but I'm trialing a continuous glucose monitor for a month simply to learn more about how the human body reacts to various foods and activities. The results so far are eye opening and very beneficial to my proactive health routines going forward.
