I think you’re confused about what you’re replying to.

RFK Jr., the “health” secretary who says he treated his ADHD with heroin and "used to snort cocaine off of toilet seats” wants you to consume more meat and dairy.

You know what to do.

She uses a combination of a power chair, cane, and braces to get around the station, and the lack of ramps and needless steps at doors are a major topic. It’s great so far. And this was made in like 1994 or something.

Literally *right* after I read this, I started the next episode of DS9 (which I’m watching for the first time), and it’s literally ABOUT accessibility and environmental design as a cause of disability. It’s about a woman from a low gravity planet who needs mobility aids in Earth gravity.

Disabled people would like you to be as understanding as you are about glasses about the variety of aids we use, and stop calling the evidence of having a body something “wrong”.

Every person and their body and relationship between the two is different. Just…stop.

It doesn't explain his relationship to the rest of the human race but a big part of RFK Jr.'s broader damage is clearly trying to find out if he can die. I guess if I had lived a life like his and was somehow still around drinking out of puddles at 72 I'd have some questions on that as well.

Also, though, it’s very easy for me to say this as someone who would not be paying for it.

I get that, I just feel like bathrooms are obviously necessary, and taking away existing rooms for them is clearly uncool.

Also, yeah, I agree, expand the buildings. Living in California, it’s kind of wild to think about buildings having been built without restrooms, but the solution should generally be to add new rooms rather than converting existing ones that already have a purpose.

I’ve met many adult women who don’t know how to squat without peeing on themselves.
February 12, 2026 at 10:38 PM
True. Although last summer, one of my 3-year-old campers came over holding her undies, which she asked me to put back on her. Turned out she’d taken them off to pee on the playground… and taught several other girls how to do it while she was at it. I just feel like we really need more of that.
February 12, 2026 at 10:38 PM
Cause it’s physically impossible to have multiple smaller rooms, obviously.

As a side note, though, we should routinely teach young girls to pop a squat outdoors. Toilets are important, of course, but everyone should know how to pee outside when needed.

I have really a lot of hats, though. I was really into loom knitting for a while, and was churning out like two hats a day 😂

That’s so pretty! I can kind of vaguely see how it works, but also would have no clue how to actually do it. Like I can see where the stitches go and come from, I just have no idea how to get them there.

Stopping a medication tomorrow, which brings me down to 11 pills/day (plus some chewable vitamins and a weekly shot).
