I’m often told that atheism is a position of arrogance. Quite often by people who think they have a personal relationship with the creator of the entire universe. Which they call humility.

Christian men will often call me gay as an intended insult, because I’m an atheist. It’s one of the reasons atheists tend to get along with the LGBTQ community. But it’s not insulting to me because I’m not a homophobe. Sexuality and atheism are not connected, unless you’re an insecure Christian man.
