We don't have enough people doing what they can but I am so grateful to those who are. Thank you.

Actually taking the time to make the call, send the letter, show up to the meeting, write the check, go to the protests, do actual mutual aid. Thank you.

Oddly, I remember my 30 better than my teens. My 30s were a lot of fun, to be fair. My teens, kinda boring.
The Reminiscence Bump is interesting.

The older you get, the stronger your memories of late teens/early 20's become versus such as "last year" and "this morning's breakfast" and "my entire 30's"

These memories are often the last to recede under Alzheimers.

It’s important to look at the post infection risks from COVID when you are weighing up risks. Also risk is cumulative, your risk increases of long covid every time you catch it. Effectively we are all on this road and the government aren’t doing enough to prevent the infection itself.

Obviously not. We have to stop burning fossil fuels. That's the #ClimateEmergency

I 100% agree!! And remember all lights that ends up where it’s not supposed to be represents in a very direct and real way a phenomenal waste of energy and money.
Lots of folks captioning aurora photos like "for a few minutes we didn't think about politics"

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

I don’t think it will do anything. GOP and MAGA are too wedded to him to care. More than half them think teens are fair game anyway. There is no magic bullet to getting rid of Trump, only the hard work of resistance against fascism.
At this point we have to assume that if the Epstein files are released they will
- end the Trump Presidency
- implicate many other prominent Republicans
- destroy the careers of AG Bondi and his other defenders
This is beginning to feel like the greatest scandal in American history.
Trump has done enormous harm to the country.
He is a deeply corrupt and venal man.
He is wildly unpopular, his agenda more so. He's lost the consent of the governed.
He is old, infirm & clearly no longer mentally competent to run a nation.

It is time now to start talking about him moving on👇

NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

It should not matter who the parent of a child is or was. Note that adopted children *automatically* become Irish citizens through an Irish citizen parent if the adoption is legally recognized by the state. For a biological parent to be refused citizenship for their child is clearly discriminatory.

💯 I'm a city planner in my bones.

What's more important to viable cities than supporting people: Their access to healthcare, food, housing, and their basic right to flourish in all their diversity?

Fossil fuel & AI-oligarchs believe cities can exist without free-thinking people. They are wrong.
Folks have been telling me they’ve noticed I’ve gotten “a lot more political” on social media this year.

Of course I have.

The circumstances have gotten nightmarishly worse, and the consequences of inaction and staying silent infinitely more obvious.

Everyone needs to get “a lot more political.”

So much work remains to be done.
