If you really want to spend more money, I'd replace the existing pickup and electronics rather than opt for the sound hole pickup.

Good luck!

Next string change, look at the base of bridge saddle to make sure it's level and flat. You can lightly sand it against a flat surface if not. That kind of thing can affect the volume of strings. Also make sure the piezo element of the pickup is well seated under the saddle and free of bends. 2/

OK, gotcha. Pickups on acoustics never sound great for recording. The sound is too "direct" and harsh and the resonance of the body gets lost. For stage use, they're fine but nobody really records with even the best ones (other than demo tracks). Personally, I'd either live with it, or mic it. 1/

What model tanglwood is it, and how do the high strings sound "off"?

Re: the Fishman sound hole pickup, I've never thought any soundhole pickup sounded great. They are basically electric guitar pickups adjusted for acoustic instruments. Problem is, that's exactly what they sound like. 🫤

It’s important to look at the post infection risks from COVID when you are weighing up risks. Also risk is cumulative, your risk increases of long covid every time you catch it. Effectively we are all on this road and the government aren’t doing enough to prevent the infection itself.

Still no peak. Emissions are projected to increase by 1.1% in 2025, reaching 38.1 GtCO2. An all time high.
