A friend got me this as a gift a while back and it's one of the few Steam games I have gotten 100% completion on. Like - cannot stress enough how fun this game is and how compelling I find the world!
So much of learning how to play ttrpgs better for me has been predicated on these specific questions, and as a GM, I'm looking to get answers for these questions from my players. Intentionality, and having a group that's actively working together towards a goal, is the *most* important step.
Things to ask yourself when playing in a new TTRPG group:
- What do I want out of the experience?
- What am I bringing to the experience for the group?
- What compels your character to be involved in the story and the group?
The experience will be 10x better with answers to these questions.
