Real talk: It takes a broad coalition to defeat authoritarians. That will include MTG and worse.
I’m torn on this. I think the apparent MTG evolution is good and in liberal pro democracy direction. But it’s more than policy disagreement still — she supports clearly illiberal policies.
So some credit is due, but let’s not fall all over ourselves

More than that, UBI is an obligation of a system that has appropriated all of the inhabitable land on Earth. As people can't opt out of the system—there's nowhere to go—the system owes everyone a living at least as good and dignified as they'd have if the appropriation of all land hadn't happened.

Why aren’t we talking about the Monks walking from Texas to Washington D.C. to peacefully protest the Trump administration’s inhuman acts? Especially rally since they were hit by a car AND many are still going.

Where is @cnn.com, @nbcnews.com, @apnews.com, @cbsnews.com, and all the rest?

MORE from Jack Smith:

"Our investigation also developed powerful evidence that showed President Trump willfully retained highly classified documents after he left office in January 2021 ... He then repeatedly tried to obstruct justice to conceal his continued retention of those documents."

This is like a scary for white people list. Where's the cilantro and jalapenos? What about kimchi, sushi or chicken feet? How about some haggis or tripe. And even I'm afraid of chitterlings!

Ranch dressing being a mix of mayo and buttermilk is like the whitest thing of all time!
... with a buttermilk/mayo base.

Guests liked it so much they asked for jars to take home. He started selling little packets of the spices to be mixed with buttermilk to make dressing.

In 1972, he sold the brand to Clorox (!) & retired.

To avoid buttermilk, which was rare in home kitchens...

Sure, they've made an environmentally catastrophic mass hallucination disinformation plagiarism Clippy that will destabilize the world, but also their other goal is to replace human workers entirely and let us humans starve. A boycott of AI is the most important boycott of your entire life.
"All of this falls apart if humans don't adopt the tech. This is why you've seen Meta cram its lame chatbots into WhatsApp and Instagram. This is why Notepad and Paint now have useless Copilot buttons on Windows. This is why Google Gemini wants to "help you" read and reply to your emails."
Analysis: OpenAI is a loss-making machine, how can it survive?
Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

The most famous piano you've never heard of, but you've definitely heard.
This is for @12tone.nebula.tv - Happy Birthday

There is a C. Bechstein concert piano that was handmade in 1989. In 1967, it was rented from a music shop in London called Jaques Samuel. It lived in Trident Studios in London.
