Donald Trump is making it more difficult for people to work in health care occupations at the same time he's making it harder for Oregonians and Americans to get care.🧵

No way will I attend the White House dinner with this President.

I’m standing with @govwesmoore.bsky.social and @colorado.gov — and standing against Trump’s corruption and hatred.

And I’m calling on my Republican colleagues to do the same.
Democratic governors to boycott White House dinner
More than a half dozen Democrats said Donald Trump disinviting two of their colleagues is the latest example of administration's 'chaos and division.'

Senator, may I suggest you read the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

It is not what we want, but what is required by the supreme law of the land.
Ron Johnson: "Why would they to remove their masks? Because they want these officers exposed, they want them afraid, they don't want to carry out their enforcement actions. They want judicial warrants, which would completely neuter ICE's ability to apprehend"

There was a time in this country when only rich white men could vote. Apparently, Republicans want to drag us back to that time.

Let your Representative know what you thing about the GOP's SAVE Act.
1. A passport, which more than half of Americans don’t have and costs at least $130
OR
2. A birth certificate PLUS your photo ID with matching names, which nearly 70 million married women lack
OR
3. Military services papers (not a military ID alone) with sensitive info.

I’m voting NO.

There seems to be some confusion about the SAVE America Act. If it becomes law, you will NOT be able to vote with your drivers license alone.

There’s some shady shit going on with Trump’s “Freedom 250."

Taxpayer dollars are being rerouted into a Trump-branded scheme where big donors get access to the president, history gets whitewashed, and money is moved with no oversight.

It's looking more and more like pay-to-play wrapped in a flag.

Several survivors of Epstein's global child trafficking ring are now dangerously exposed because the DOJ is either spectacularly sloppy or trying to intimidate people. Or both.

Attorney General Pam Bondi comes before @democrats-judiciary.house.gov tomorrow. We'll be demanding answers.

I am going in later this week to review the unredacted Epstein files.

Americans are seeing what looks like a cover up and an attempt to rig the judicial system in favor of some of the richest, most powerful people in the world. America has a chance right now to show there is one rule of law here.

Grateful to the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce for holding this virtual ICE enforcement training for businesses on Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 12-1 PM.

Now more than ever, it's important to stay educated and know your rights.

Trump's Tariffs are a national sales tax - taxation without representation.
New research shows Trump’s tariffs quietly cost the average family about $1,000 last year, rising to $1,300 this year if they stay in place.

That’s a hidden tax on groceries, cars, and everyday goods. #TrumpflationSucks

Trump's tariffs are devastating our economy and driving up costs for hardworking families.

And what are Republicans doing about it?

Trying to stop a vote to remove these costly tariffs on consumers. Shameful.

Republicans care more about appeasing Donald Trump and his personal police than keeping you safe.

They're willing to shut the government down over it.

Utility bills are sky high. Instead of an ‘all of the above’ energy approach, the Trump administration is gutting clean energy projects like solar here in Arizona.

The affordability crisis is getting worse by design.

The nation’s biggest health care companies own:
- Your pharmacy
- Your doctor
- Your insurance company
- The middleman between your insurance company and pharmacy

And they charge you at every turn.

That's why today, I introduced a bipartisan bill to Break Up Big Medicine.

Clinton's victory in 1992 is the canonical example that supposedly proves Dems win by moving to the center. There's only one problem: The data disagrees. Voters saw Clinton as more liberal than Dukakis, & simulations show even a solid progressive would have won www.gelliottmorris.com/p/what-the-d...
