California Congressman & Leader of Oversight Dems. Former Long Beach Mayor. Truth and Justice, always. 🇺🇸🏳️‍🌈
There’s a lot going on in the world that’s important.

And so is holding Donald Trump and the DOJ accountable for not releasing the Epstein files. We won’t forget, and won’t stop fighting until we get the truth.

We are sure it’s just a coincidence, but today is the statuatory date for the DOJ to explain its redactions in the Epstein file productions.

We have not forgotten, and we won’t let up - regardless of the President’s new unconstitutional actions.

This war against Venezuela is unconstitutional and a dangerous action from an out of control President.

Donald Trump’s illegal deployment of the National Guard in California is over. The courts have once again rejected the President and returned control of the guard to our Governor. California will continue to lead the fight against this administration.

It's been a busy year for Oversight Democrats.

We've launched investigations into Epstein's crimes, misconduct at government agencies, and Trump family corruption. And our work is far from over.

Wishing you a Happy New Year from Ranking Member @robertgarcia.house.gov and Oversight Dems.

This is a White House cover-up…

But we are going to end it.

RFK Jr. ended the CDC's long-standing recommendation to give newborns the hep B vaccine—putting tens of thousands of lives at risk.

His attacks on science are eroding trust in our public health system and MUST be stopped.

Oversight Dems have launched an investigation.

The Trump Administration appears to be leading us toward regime change and war in Venezuela. Yet they have no authorization from Congress to do so.

Republicans need to join us to ensure that we don’t start another war.

“My friends will get hurt,” Trump said.

Unlike the President, we don't care who's in the files. Anyone that's involved in the abuse of women and girls should be held accountable.

Release the files, NOW.

Donald Trump spent his whole campaign saying he was going to release the Epstein files. Then, he called it a hoax.

Now, the DOJ says it "found" a million new documents, but Trump said the investigation was over just last week.

This Administration can't be trusted.

The American public knows this is a White House cover-up. The survivors and the country the truth and justice. Why are we protecting people who trafficked and abused women and girls?
December 30, 2025 at 12:51 AM
If Trump and the DOJ have nothing to hide, then why haven’t they released all the files?

We want truth and transparency for the survivors, and we’re going to continue to fight until we get it.
December 29, 2025 at 8:06 PM
Donald Trump continues to call our Epstein investigation a hoax and is now suggesting the FBI stall a full release of the files.

This is full blown White House cover-up being directed by the President. What is he hiding? The DOJ needs to release all the files, NOW.

It’s outrageous that Trump’s DOJ has illegally withheld over 1 million documents from the public.

The DOJ is redacting the names of possible Epstein co-conspirators and at the same time exposing the names of survivors.

Why are we protecting people who harmed and abused women and children?

Every single survivor deserves justice, including Maria Farmer.

We are asking the DOJ Inspector General to investigate why the FBI failed to stop Epstein when his crimes were first reported. We demand answers.

Our government failed Maria Farmer and so many other women.

Ranking Member Garcia is asking the Inspector General of the DOJ to investigate why the FBI failed to act and stop Epstein when reported. We need justice.

Mr. President, you have the power right now to release the names of Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirators that are redacted in the DOJ-released files.

The survivors deserve justice. Let’s end this nightmare today and release the names.

My statement on the new Epstein documents:
The new documents that Congress has forced the Justice Department to release make one thing clear:

We are witnessing a criminal White House cover-up.
December 23, 2025 at 8:31 PM
The American public is on to the Trump administration’s coverup of the Epstein files.

We’re not going to stop until we get every single file and hold every single abuser accountable.
December 23, 2025 at 1:34 AM
The DOJ has completely botched the Epstein files rollout and is therefore obstructing justice for survivors.

Anyone involved in the abuse of women and girls must be held accountable.
December 22, 2025 at 10:26 PM
The Trump Administration claims to be transparent yet failed to release the full Epstein files by the deadline imposed by Congress.

The DOJ is openly defying the law, and they will be held accountable.
