Maduro’s illegitimate presidency shattered Venezuela and ran its economy into the ground.

But the U.S. Constitution and federal law make clear: presidents must have authorization from Congress for war or acts of war.

Awful diagnosis. Wishing Senator Kyl and his family strength in the days ahead.

Arizona is a stronger, better state because of his wisdom, passion, and decades of honorable public service. His example continues to inspire Arizonans from all walks of life.

The Trump admin couldn’t dismantle the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, so they tried to defund it instead.

Judge Jackson said not so fast.

Families shouldn't be left behind when big businesses try to rip them off. The CFPB isn't going anywhere.

Tatiana Schlossberg’s death is a heartbreaking loss. Her honesty about fighting cancer while trying to be a mom meant so much to so many patients, survivors, and families.
A Battle with My Blood
When I was diagnosed with leukemia, my first thought was that this couldn’t be happening to me, to my family.

I joined a bipartisan group of 75 Members of Congress calling on the Trump admin to stop their plans to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research next year.

Studying the weather and our climate saves lives and helps the economy, especially our farm communities.
The Trump administration says it plans to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research, the nation’s premier atmospheric science center. It was founded in 1960 and has facilitated generations of breakthroughs in climate and weather science https://to.pbs.org/4qygWgV

Extreme heat can buckle roads, stress bridges, and drive up repair costs.

My bipartisan HEAT Act with Rep. Lawler will help states access emergency response funds and requests clearer guidelines from the Department of Transportation for building and maintaining heat-resilient infrastructure.

I mourn the passing of Jeffrey R. Holland, President of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

President Holland dedicated his life to service & teaching. May his legacy continue to inspire the Latter-day Saints across AZ who found strength in his words.

Unfortunately, DOGE neither cut red tape nor improve efficiency. It did, however, gut critical services in the process.

Millions of Americans are flying home for the holidays. Sadly, Trump eliminated the protections guaranteeing passengers compensation if their flights are canceled or face major delays.

My new bill with @repricklarsen.bsky.social and @repemiliasykes.bsky.social would fix that.

Mexico is our biggest trading partner and a critical security partner to the U.S.

That’s why I worked across the aisle with Rep. Salazar to urge Secretary Rubio to press Mexico on its judicial “reforms” that weaken independence and risk undermining our efforts to fight the cartels.

Trump’s cancellation of approved, in-progress projects wastes public dollars and widens the gap between America and its competitors.

The law says DOJ can’t hide Epstein files or notes because they’re embarrassing or “politically sensitive.” The only redactions allowed are to protect victims and basic safety.

If Trump officials slow-walk it, that’s illegal and they should answer to Congress and the courts.

The next Colorado River agreement has to reflect how people actually use water today and make sure the rules are fair, transparent, and work for everyone.

In our country, the president must seek approval to go to war within 60 days of hostilities beginning.

That’s why I voted to rein in Trump's illegal boat strikes in and around Latin America until he makes his case to Congress.
