Our skies are safe because air traffic controllers continue to show up for work without pay.

While the cutbacks to flight traffic are a prudent decision, we need Republicans’ help to reopen the government, save health care, and pay our federal workers.

Arizonans are suffering from an affordability crisis, driven by Trump’s tariffs and failed economic policies.

Grocery prices are up. Electricity prices are up. Now AZ families and small business owners are set to see their out-of-pocket health insurance premiums go up by thousands of dollars.

Happy 250th birthday to the U.S. Marine Corps. To every Marine — and to the families who support them — thank you for your service, honor, and commitment to our country.

I was proud to help pass the #RespectForMarriageAct in Congress to lock in protections for same-sex and interracial marriages nationwide.

The Supreme Court’s decision to reject a challenge to marriage equality is welcome news, but there is still a long way to go.

We made a promise to the Afghan allies who served with our troops: if you have our back, we'll have yours.

As Trump cracks down on refugees & visas, Congress must pass the #AfghanAdjustmentAct to ensure the interpreters+informants that kept our troops safe can escape the Taliban & build a life here

Obergefell is settled law. Our Respect for Marriage Act codified it.

Marriage equality is the law of the land. Period.

It’s Day 40 of the shutdown, and Trump’s new “plan” to fix health care is to essentially repeal the Affordable Care Act (sound familiar?) and let insurers drop anyone with pre-existing conditions.

If Trump wants to end the shutdown, he needs to start negotiating with Dems today.

Mourning the loss of longtime Tempe Fire paramedic & Marine Corps veteran John Garza. Firefighters put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe, and they will always have our deepest respect.

My prayers are with his wife and children.

Heading into Veterans Day, I joined Chandler’s Military Appreciation Breakfast to listen and say thank you to the veterans in our community.

To every Arizonan who stepped up to wear the uniform: we’re grateful for your service, today and every day. 🇺🇸

For 25 years, Operation Santa Claus has delivered meals, toys, and clothing to Arizona families, totaling over $15 million in support.

I was proud to present David Kimmerle of Sanderson Ford and Lincoln and Craig McKee of ABC15 a Congressional Commendation recognizing their incredible work on it.

Two of Ahwatukee’s Catholic churches, Corpus Christi and St. Benedict’s, are both celebrating a remarkable 40 years serving the community.

Proud to recognize this milestone alongside Father Ioric and Father Aboyi with an official entry into the Congressional record.

This week my staff and I stopped by Tempe Community Action Agency, Tempe's largest food bank. While Trump fights in the courts to cut off SNAP benefits, our community is stepping up to feed their neighbors.

Federal courts ordered Trump to pay full SNAP benefits for November. Instead of releasing funds for the millions of kids, veterans and families who rely on SNAP, he's appealing the ruling.

Unbelievably cruel.

The decision by Secretary Duffy to reduce flights at America’s 40 busiest airports is the right call for the safety of the flying public.

Direct File made tax season easy and free for Arizonans. Ending it will only mean higher costs and more headaches for taxpayers.

I’ll keep fighting to restore free, simple filing.
The IRS is officially ending Direct File, the free, government-run tax-filing pilot program that the Biden administration started last year.

Preventive care shouldn’t be a luxury.

Without insurance, many Americans choose to skip regular screenings that can catch cancer early when it's most treatable.

I'll continue fighting to keep coverage affordable.

Trump's trade war isn't just increasing costs for Americans, it’s driving our allies and adversaries into doing more business with China.

Trump needs to stop isolating us from the world.

Nancy Pelosi didn’t just make history — she wrote it.

As the first woman to wield the Speaker’s gavel, she led the House through generational crises with skill and grit. I was lucky to have a front-row seat to watch the most powerful woman in American history at work for the people.

The remains of Itay Chen, the last American hostage held by Hamas, have finally been returned.

My heart is with the Chen family, who tirelessly advocated for his return and the return of all hostages still in Gaza.

The president can’t rewrite the Constitution because of a so-called “emergency.”

I’ve helped lead the fight in Congress to stand up to this illegal end-run around congressional authority. Now it’s in the Supreme Court’s hands.

If you didn't show up for work for two months, what do you think would happen?

House Republicans are sitting at home while we set a new record for the longest shutdown ever.

They should come back to Washington and get to work.

I’m in the hearing room as the Supreme Court considers if Trump can use “emergency” powers to impose sweeping tariffs.

I've led the fight in Congress to stop this abuse & keep costs down for Arizona.

What’s at stake today is simple: who writes our laws — the people, or one man?
November 5, 2025 at 3:09 PM
Tomorrow I’ll be at the Supreme Court for arguments on Trump's global trade war.

At stake? Whether the President can abuse his emergency powers to impose tariffs without Congressional approval.

I'll be there to support checks and balances.
The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a two cases related to the president's authority to enact his tariff policy.
